How To Do A Dumbbell Bicep Curl

Written Instructions

  1. Stand with feet shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent and core braced.
  2. Hold the dumbbells down by your sides with palms facing forwards and elbows locked into the side of your body.
  3. Flex the elbow, to bring the dumbbells up to shoulder level.
  4. Try to keep still and keep shoulders back to allow for the bicep to be recruited most.
  5. Once you’ve reached the height of the movement, gradually lower the dumbbells back down to the starting position.
